I am Elina Kozyreva, based in Barcelona since 2004, founder of the Yin Yang Medic Health and Beauty Center in Barcelona and therapist in different techniques of Chinese Medicine, such as Acupuncture, Auriculotherapy, Moxibustion, Cupping, Phytotherapy, and Therapeutic Massage, as well as the most advanced facial and body treatments in Aesthetics.
All my life I have followed my instinct, curiosity, and interest in topics related to wellness, health care, and beauty, which is why I came to Spain to expand my knowledge and experience in these areas.
I began my training with studies in aesthetic treatments, which allowed me to start my professional career in this country in 2008. I then expanded my knowledge with intensive training in chiromassage and Californian massage at leading schools in Spain, such as the Dr. Sagrera Ferrándiz School of Manual Massage and the Spazio Esalen School with Sujati.
After a few years of professional practice in the field of aesthetics and wellness, I felt the call to broaden my scope of practice to include health, discovering the wonderful world of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. I therefore began my training in such wonderful and, above all, effective techniques as acupuncture, auriculotherapy, moxibustion, phytotherapy, and cupping.
Today, I practice professionally at the Yin Yang Medic Health and Beauty Center in Barcelona, after completing four years of studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Barcelona School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Master’s Degree in Advanced Acupuncture at the WU WEI School, which includes techniques such as SAAM, Tung Acupuncture, Cranial Acupuncture, Hinaishin, Lafuye and Trigger Points, Facial Lifting, and Abdominal Acupuncture.
I am also a member of the Societat d’Acupuntors de Catalunya (Catalan Acupuncturists Association) and the Asociación de Acupuntores de España (Spanish Acupuncturists Association).
My goal is to care for and maintain your health. I help you and give you tools to improve or solve your condition from the perspective of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, a holistic and personalized way of treating each person.
